Hello my loves! I’m finally back in Switzerland
In today’s post, I want to share the five new things I will love to do in 2018.
Exactly last year, I enrolled myself to the gym, with the intention on going at least twice a week, I know it’s not that much, and there’s people that go every single morning… But I was quite surprised with myself, I did actually went to the gym almost every single week.
I go to Let’s Go, it’s the biggest chain of gyms in Switzerland, I think their fees are correct, considering that you have access to all the collective courses and the proper gym area, they’re open the whole week and you can attend any of the gyms. At the beginning I tried almost all the courses and finally, the one that I liked the most was Zumba, the instructor is amazing and was perfect for my schedule! For the second day, I do 30 minutes of cardio, and then some floor exercises.
For 2018, I want to add a third day in my fitness routine, and Pilates on Monday morning sounds like a good idea.
I’ll leave Let’s Go website here.
As long as I remember I had long hair, and don’t get me wrong I love it, but I want to experince something different. I have been influenced by Tanya Burr and Olivia Culpo, so I think that in a couple of days I’ll be making RDV with my hair dresser. Of course I’m a little bit nervous, but at the end of the day hair grows! And who knows? Maybe I will love it, and I’ll be keeping it short for a longer period.
When it comes to cooking, I only know the basics and honestly is NOT my passion. On the other hand, I know it’s important to have a correct and healthy diet, so I would love to start cooking new dishes.
My goals, are to at least try one new recipe each week, incorporate more veggies, mushrooms, and vegetal protein.
I love reading, and before moving to Switzerland I was reading a new book almost every month. My all-time favorite author is Ken Follet, hands down! He’s the perfect writter if you’re like me, and love historical novels.
Currently I’m reading Peter Pan, a classic. But, I still have a couple of books that I bought and haven’t had the chance to read them.
Since I started my Blog in June 2017, I discover new bloggers all the time, specially from Switzerland and Mexico, since these two are the countries that follow the most my Blog and Instagram. I have discovered many talented and creative girls that inspire me to work hard on the content I want to share with you guys, but it also happens to me that I start comparing myself… I don’t have enough followers as X girl, I don’t post as much I as X girl, and the list goes on…
The sad part of comparing yourself to someone else, is that you loose your time and energy, furthermore you create a negative vibe around you, and nobody should create this around themselves! This is why, I challenge myself to create and write without looking at the numbers, I challenge myself just to enjoy and let myself be creative in my own way.
Here I talk about the “blogging world”, but comparisons can be made in any situations of your life.
What about you guys? What goals are you setting for yourself this year? I will love to know!
